2 Crônicas 13

Morris - The Hebrew word here for "story" is midrash. It originally meant something like a commentary. In more recent times, it came to be applied to a collection of Rabbinic comments on the Old Testament, collected between 100 B.C. and A.D. 300 (see note on 1 Chronicles 29:29). Believer's Study Bible - The "annals" of the prophet Iddo was some type of commentary, study, or interpretation. The word employed is midrash (Heb., used only here and in 2 Chr. 24:27), which became the designation for the formal, doctrinal, and homiletical expositions of the Hebrew and Aramaic Scriptures which were collected into a unified body of literature during the period 100 B.C.-A.D. 300 (cf. 1 Chr. 29:29, note).
