1 Coríntios 6
John Phillips · Citado em PreceptAustin
1 Coríntios 6:18
Phillips: Avoid sexual looseness like the plague! Every other sin that a man commits is done outside his own body, but this is an offence against his own body. ( Phillips: Touchstone) TLB: That is why I say to run from sex sin. No other sin affects the body as this one does. When you sin this sin it is against your own body.
1 Coríntios 6:19
Phillips: Have you forgotten that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you, and that you are not the owner of your own body? ( Phillips: Touchstone) TLB: Haven’t you yet learned that your body is the home of the Holy Spirit God gave you, and that he lives within you? Your own body does not belong to you.
1 Coríntios 6:20
Phillips: You have been bought, and at what a price! Therefore bring glory to God both in your body and your spirit, for they both belong to him. ( Phillips: Touchstone) TLB: For God has bought you with a great price. So use every part of your body to give glory back to God because he owns it. Weymouth: And you are not your own, for you have been redeemed at infinite cost. Therefore glorify God in your bodies.
